An institutional journey built since 2023

The Forum has developed through institutional construction, public execution and expanding bilateral ambition.

2023 and 2025 — Foundations and first edition

A vision of representation, cooperation and diaspora mobilization led to the first completed public edition in 2025.

2026 — Expanded scale

The second completed edition broadened institutional participation, business conversations, public mobilization, exhibition activity and cultural programming.

2027 — Next tentative edition

The next edition is tentatively planned for May 21–22, 2027. Program, venue and final dates remain subject to confirmation.

Institutional continuity since 2023

From foundations to public editions

2023–2024 · Foundations

The Forum’s vision developed around a lasting need: a setting where Canada’s Congolese diaspora, institutions and business communities could structure economic dialogue and cooperation with the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

2025–2026 · Two completed public editions

The first public edition in 2025 and the 2026 edition brought together participants, public figures, experts, entrepreneurs and organizations. Programs, documented attendance, speeches, meetings and cultural events are read in the context of each year.

2027 · A provisional next step

May 21–22, 2027 remain provisional dates, subject to confirmation. Preparations focus on commercial diplomacy, investment, innovation, artificial intelligence, culture and Canada–DRC cooperation mechanisms.
